Sam Chen
Sam's parents escaped communist China toward the end World War II, and met in Kobe, Japan where he was born. Sam's mother knew that his best chance for any future was an education in the United States. They arrived in the U.S. in 1963 armed with a limited amount of English and even less of its culture". Sam's first job was delivering newspapers after school, so he could help his family. Growing up in San Francisco, he received a BA in psychology from UCLA. After graduation, he worked for San Bruno Ford for 2 years and earned the Salesman of the Year Award for those two years. He moved to Hawaii in 1977 for a vacation, planning to return to the Bay Area. It's been 30 years now. Sam has worked for the Cutter Team and Honolulu Ford for over 15 years, where he learned much about the automobile business in sales, finance and management. In 1995, he opened MASH Auto Sales with just 3 cars, and has been servicing Central Oahu for the past 13 years. Just as his mother envisioned,
"I believe with hard work and dedication, anyone's American Dream can still come true. My goal is to provide good, quality vehicles at fair prices, in a clean and friendly pressure-less environment, and making them available to all people, regardless of their credit history".
Peter Llarenas
Peter was born and raised on the Island of Guam. He completed high school in San Francisco, where he also attended the Culinary Arts Academy after graduation. He arrived in Hawaii for fun and relaxation with no definite plans. He eventually fell in love with a local girl and has been here ever since. Peter has 2 children. A son 17 years old and a 10 year old daughter. He's been in the restaurant hospitality and entertainment industry for many years. He's the new guy in the Auto industry here at MASH Cars. He got involved about 10 years ago and hasn't looked back.
"I guess being in the hospitality business was an easy transition for me when dealing with the customers needs and wants".
Jeffrey Gomes
Jeffrey was born and raised on the island of Oahu. He comes with over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. Jeffrey's extensive background in auto sales was cultivated by holding practically every job from basic sales to top level management positions within very high level, high volume dealerships here in Hawaii.
